i was using fileplanet and got 1mps+ and on free download

but im not really liking it 1 shoot = dead with any gun

the insurgents need there voices imporved like when they throwing frag it sounds like some chinese man

yeah there are a lot of things very over complicated but its still fun.

well i guess its just like any other new game it sucks at first but once u get the hang of it the fun improves

i played yesterday. i'm fartbuster 3000.
I like the game so far. the issues i noticed were the blinking red ERROR block letters if the server is bad. sorta cool though. it places a big ERROR in place of other characters in the map.

also if you get hit with a grenade the ringing ear sound will not stop.
yes the insurgence needs better voice overs.

pretty much like cs source with squad play and better sounds graphics and weapons.

I play DOD:S almost exclusively. I love the Source engine but they REALLY botched CS:S. I am already playing the Goldeneye Beta and I will have to check this out as well.

I was rather impressed with this mod. Very top-quality and so far it plays very smooth. I'm a little confused on the game types. It seems others are also since objectives are rarely captured. I think most players are still trying to figure out the game.

if you hold the other team down right off the start, and keep pushing them back, you don't really need to capture objectives. basically any map can be won by placing a support gunner and a 2 snipers in key locations, and then have the rest of the squad rush spawn. i like the realism though. a lot of people are complaining about the difficulty, but isn't that the idea? boohoo i don't know where i got shot from, and i don't know if i killed that guy. well, in real life you can't confirm kills in the middle of a battle, and i'm assuming you wouldn't really know where you got shot from most of the time.

any game that uses source should work. install and restart steam and it should be in your games list.

This game is so damn fun. It's kinda confusing for first-timers, but it's awesome once you get accustomed to the game.

The KarKar map is a little BS though, the Marines are pretty much screwed for the rest of the round if they don't push hard for Objective Alpha and gain a toehold in the train area in the first minute.

I hear "Aww crap! My [expletive] game crashed!" in TeamSpeak a lot.

Seems to be happening to me more often on the Right To Rule server than any other server I've been on.

Not sure whether this is related to the crap server provider we have for DoD:S

man i used to play @ RTR dod:s avalanche for so long....way before ive seen you. i quit, then played custom maps at pow dod.

It seems it has gained Xfire support, it's now being listed under its own name and icon, for a while it has been listed under the Source SDK.

I played insurgency for a bit but said F that it keep crashing like every 5-30 minutes. Not worth the effort.
