Could it be true? Of course With most of the XP 1600+'s that are shipping nowadays...and at their excellent price...you can't go wrong!

I have an XP 1600+ here right now at 1800MHz with 1.95V being cooled by an old Swiftech MC462r1 folding 24/7. The 1600+ is the best bang for the buck right now.

DGM- sounds like my set up. 1800mhz seems to be the limit for mine on air....... for the $90 I paid for it a couple months ago, it was a steal.

Yes, 1800MHz seems to be the limit no matter how much voltage I pump into this little 1600+ on air. I would not be surprised if she hit 2000MHz on evaporative phase change.

If any of you guys can find the week 16 or higher AGOIAs, you'll hit 1.9ghz no problems. With my current XP, i can do from 1.47ghz to 1.9ghz with default voltage.

Woot! I got an AROIA Y! It's already running 1743 at 1.70 vcore. I'm just trying to get other problems fixed first before I start overclocking.

I got this so far. Not bad for a guy that's used to 146 FSB.

Maybe I should keep it here to burn in the ram?

I just picked up a 1600+ yesterday, planning on trying it out tonight.

    AGOIA0220MPM
    4....
I think. Only stepping they had. Hopefully I can do some better unlockage this time than on my 1800+. I'll test it to make sure it works first though .

You bet. Looking at it right now in front of me the whole thing is:

    AX1600DMT3C
    AGOIA0220MPM
    41058751100

So I did remember it correctly. Week 20 seems like it should be good, but from the thread on AROIA cores on [H]ard|OCP it seems that the MPM cores don't clock as high. As long as it beats my 1800+ though, I'm happy .

Hello everybody, this is my first post here at Xtreme

KnightElite, i think the AGOIAs 41F were slighty better, anyway, that week 20 is a good one, too.

Hello there, first post for me too - this looks an awesome forum! Glad i found it

Anyway, a friend of mine is selling an XP 1600 CPU, it's only a month old. What codes should i be looking for, as i would like to use this CPU to overclock as much as poss
I am currently Running a 1GHz AXIA Y @ 1595 - Watercooled, so anything higher than that SHOULD keep me happy.

Any tips / comments / questions are welcome.

Hey COoL! Welcome to the forums!

Look for the AGOIA and AROIA steppings for the 1600! Right now (as you can tell) it's the best bang for the buck!

Gotta love that AXIA Y! I'm running a 1200 right now.

    @shadco:

Boy does that look familiar. What Vcore did you get that at? I need to pump 2.1v into mine for it to run Prime95 stable. Damn fine stepping these AGOIA's are.
