help me build a new system

so im looking at getting a new mb, cpu, ram ,and videocard after the price drop on the 22nd. this is gonna be my first intel system ever so ill need help on picking out good hardware. im looking to get the best overclock mostly. im getting a q6600 and it will be put on phase. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=130768 is the phase unit i bought. anyone know if it will work on the q6600? it worked prefect on my 165 opty. it was keeping it at -40c with 1.6 volts on the opty at 3.06 ghz. anyways heres what ive picked out so far

Hi!

Be careful when choosing a motherboard.

The new P35 boards offer DDR2 or DDR3 or DDR2 + DDR3

The one you listed is the Asus DDR3 board.

The RAM you chose is DDR2 RAM.

DDR3 is very expensive right now, so I am guessing that you intend to go with DDR2 @ this time.

The Asus P5K deluxe, Gigabyte P35-DQ6 and Abit P35 Pro are the best P35 DDR2 boards.

Read the reviews @ the egg or elsewhere and make your choice.

Oh, the Gigabyte board seems to be the favorite right now!

i got a p35 board but i be gettin x38 when they come out
gigabyte offerin x38 in ddr2 n ddr3

Yeah x38 will support SLI so that will be my next board as well, my eVGA is awsome tho, love it.

when are the x38s comming out? im ordering everything on the 22nd because i have no system right now. either my mb or video card is out so im just waiting for the price drop? does anyone know if my phase unit will keep this thing below 0. whats the best overclocking ram as of now. i want at least 2 gigs
