Received my E6420. Side of the box says:
FPO/Batch L632F556
Pack Date 5/18/07
Version#D89013-001 1.34V max
Would anyone know if this is a decent OC'able batch?
I'm not too concerned, I'll be testing it tomorrow, just curious beforehand.

<- Avatar is our first baby, my 2nd was born 6/29/07 and is my first ever build and OC'd gaming rig:
- GA-P35-DS3R (stable even with EIST and C1E enabled)
- E6420 @ 3.2ghz 1.37v
- Thermalright 120 Extreme w/Scythe S-Flex F
- 4gb's Crucial Ballistix 800 (two 2x1 kits) @ 4-4-4-12
- Evga GTS 8800 640 @ stock
- 320gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.10
- Samsung 18x DVD burner
- Corsair 520HX
- Antec 900 - all fans on low!
- Temps: 30c/45c Idle/Orthos
- Vista 64-bit OEM Home Premium
- 19" Samsung 2ms LCD (906BW - no ghosting/bleeding)
I don't need to OC any higher, nor OC my GPU, as all my games (S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Penumbra, COD 2, FarCry, Call of Juarez) run on MAX settings with killer framerates (avg. 55 FPS per a quick Fraps run in Stalker)
you could've just bumped your original thread on this matter. I'm telling ya that it's a crapshoot as of late. I really hope it does well for you but don't expect 3.6ghz.

i5 2500K @ 4.7ghz 1.32v(+.010 offset LLC set to 4) / ASRock P67 Extreme4 (B3) / 2x4gb Samsung Green MV-3V4G3D @ 1866mhz 1.35v / AMD HD 6850 1gb /2x150gb Velociraptor Raid 0 + 500gb WD Green / Corsair TX 750watt V2
may i know if an E6600 that needs 1.47v @ 3.2ghz is a good one?

I had a bad feeling about the proc, when my friend got his e6600 to 3.6ghz with the same voltage.
I just wanted to know it its a really crappy one or an average one.![]()
