    SS TJ07 vs Stacker 830

Hey guys, i searched the forums for this already and didn't see a thread, however I did see masaville also talk about watercooling the 830 vs the tj07 in one of his threads. Here are the list of parts that are going to be going in:

    Intel Q6600
A P35 Board of some sort
    Enermax Infinitii 650w PSU
    Petra's Elite Kit
    3 Hard Drives
    2 DVD Drives
    8800GTS
    Audigy2 Sound Card

I want everything to fit comfortably and neatly, and also be able to have flawless room for the water cooling kit...i really like the look of the stacker 830 and have been wanting one for a while, however, with my recent decision to go water, i didn't know if i would get any added benefit with going with the TJ07

    thanks in advance guys!

I'd say the TJ07. The TJ07 is one of the best non MM case for water cooling. The 830 is one of the best air cooling cases but that doesn't always translate well to water. I've seen a few 830/832 builds with water, all of them involved cutting the case though. If you are comfortable cutting the case the 830 will work though. I just finished my TJ07 build, it was very easy and roomy. The only thing is that cable management was tough but I am not very good at it anyway.

I like the TJ07, it looks more roomier compared to the 830, and to me the TJ07 looks better. If you ever go water cooling you could fit two rads in the TJ07 without any modding.

Vote for SS TJ07. I have TJ09 Black, and like it pretty much, especially knowing fact that I don't use PC cases in general for last 6 years Open stand only-man :-D. But SilverStone made me comfortable with their TJ07\09

I voted for the TJ07. Had you stated that you were going for air cooling, I would've voted for the 830. The TJ07's airflow just seems to be a bit too unorthodox for me. I purchased an 830 Evo recently, and it worked great on air with tons of quiet flow. My plan was to throw a water kit in it, but I could not find a way to fit water in it to cool an E6600 and dual 8800GTX's. Around then was when masaville decided to go with a TJ07. To be honest, I hadn't even seen the TJ07 on newegg's site, as they list it as a mid tower, and I was looking for full towers only. I priced one out and was going to buy one, but newegg wouldn't ship it to my APO address here in Kuwait. After figuring out how much a black window'd TJ07 would've run me, I decided to just get a MM UFO Horizon. I haven't looked back since!
    Main Rig:

    Dual loops:
    D-Tek FuZion (Bowed) - PA120.3 - Dual DDC2+ w/ PT tops - Swiftech MicroRes - Distilled w/ Red UV dye

for aircooling i choose 830 cause of the ability to install 9 120mm fans inside with four of them blowing towards the whole mobo area

for water cooling i vote for the TJ

very true, but i also realized that if you go extreme air cooling (tuniq, ultra-120 extreme) you cant use the bracket that holds the 4 120mm fans because it gets in teh way.

I currently have the TT Xaser V and it has a twin bracket for 2 92mm and i had to mod it by cutting off the top fan bracket so my TT big typhoon would fit heh

You could just not put a fan in the bracket in front of the air cooler.
