    HD2900XT Crossfire - first testing (~29k 3d05)

i just made some first benchmarks for comparing,
didn't had enough time for serious oveclocking...

    2x R600, old X1900Crossfire Edition, Silverstone 1KW, QX6700

    quicksetup...

3x ATI in the rig (on the bottom the old X1900XT)

    the scores:

    3D06:
    18686 Pkt. Dualcore
    19974 Pkt. Quadcore

    3D05:
    28738 Pkt.

    3D03:
    66267 Pkt.

    3D01:
    76156Pkt.
no LOD tweaking, one of both cards set to 839/900 Mhz on stockair
the quadcorerun is just bad, becouse of low cpu clock

    ...just testing...

i just put it out before i take the photo - thats why u see the card on the first foto.

    Nice scores with air card

Go for more, 20k in 06 and tweak 01 run for 80k

    btw:

My two cent's about 3 x GPU in 06. This combination do nothing I tested 3 x 88GTX in 06 and nothing more than dual card run

just one card was overclocked to 838/900, the otherone ran default.

but we recognized that the improvement of oc'ing one card was very low, i gues the asynchron clock slowes more than it improves...

like i said, it was just a test. water will follow, and then both card will get more clockpower...
