I think he's using a MAPP torch Kayl. You can see one behind the unit in a few of the pictures .

    Thanks, thanks !

Yes, I`m using MAPP gas torch :p

Wdrzal, it will fit in to front doors, hehe :p I checked that earlier

Victor will be happy with that unit, I`m sure about that. Everything is done with the smallest details.

Thats the major problem I think, but I think if you built a bit neater and more planned luke you'd have less problems with leaks. That and make sure when you get the joint hot enough, that when you add filler you go all the way around (more is better imo then too little ), and then move the heat over the pipes back and forth to let it soak thru.

For 4 days unit is holding that same pressure. I think that it`s leak free :-) Checked with special foam for leaks, nothing found.

Today I`ll buy some more copper and valve for oil return and everything should be done in next few days.

Is condensation around the CPU ever a problem with a rig like that?

Ok, I bought some copper, so I can start work. I bought R290 too, so I can start tests with autocascading stage.

But now I have to cut my hairs :p

Will show photos with some nice numbers on the evening.

    As promised...

    SHE IS ALIVE !!

Love the fog at the xtreme low temperatures...

Small love message to my...eh Who knows...maybe...

No temperatures yet, I decided to show nice number when the unit will be fully insulated. Now without ANY insulation Fluke has showed me -75,5C on GPU head at 0bar suction. Need to cut some captube from GPU heads.

    Hope everyone like it.

And I know what I`m doing, autocascades aren`t easy to tune but for sure I know what I`m doing.

Looking very good look, check your superheat and subcooling though before you go cutting caps.

yes, this is true low temp ice formation, below -60 frost doesnt build so much... the lower it get the less frost and more smoke it produces hehehe

nice build, but you guys are exagerating on the compressor hp hehehe

The most important is to be close to -60*C when loaded on both heads.

Must go to school today guys , see you soon.

Freight it, only real way to assure its safe. Put it onto a pallet, bolt it down, and then ship it slow-mo with heavy on the insurance and labels for all the dangerous-ness-es.

I found at -81°c there is lots of vapor coming off the evaporator... but once it's been left it frosts up and there isn't any vapor anymore lol .

If you blow the frost off it keeps pouring vapour everywhere again lol .
