Not to be off topic, Lightman.

Couldn't help noticing the PackadBell in your sig. Figured they were out of businesss by the time the XP's came out. Maybe still in Europe. They made the first computer I ever owned, back in 1990. It was a 386. Made me so frustrated I started building my own. I guess you can say PackardBell turned me into a computer junkie, lol.

    Yeah! Good one !
Packard brand is used by NEC in U.K. and this is my 'company' laptop I'm emotionally connected to I soldered it at least 15 times ....

    Back on topic!
When we can expect some new WR's?

O.o talk about golden silicon. You're gonna really tear it up once you get that screamer on a newer platform.

    Love that frosty pic.

Congrats Elmor on your sick scores.

I have a question about your PCI-e clock. So by increasing the clock you can have better gpu o'cing, as I can see you have some sweet clocks on your cards, I have only done 850/900 on mine.
I have always kept mine at 100Mhz because that is what I was led to believe to keep it at as the system may become unstable, or is there a trick to it?

It does not allow higher gpuclocks by increasing the PCIe-frequency, but you get a nice performance boost. Up to 120MHz should be no problem, after that some cards has issues and also sata-controllers starts acting wierd. To be able to run that high PCIe-frequency I use an old fashioned PATA-disk

Us too! We got our first PC in 1996, a Packard Bell with a Pentium 100MHz and 16MB RAM, and Windows 95. After that I was HOOKED.
