Intel has termed our Intel ICH9R/DO/DH SATA AHCI Controller obsolete in Intel RST 11.x release notes, so Intel Rapid Storage Technology 10.8.0.1003 is the final supported version for our motherboard.

Realtek HD Audio R2.67 was released a couple weeks ago.

    Realtek High Audio Definition R2.67 for Vista 32bit / Vista 64bit / Win7 32bit / Win7 64bit
    Realtek High Audio Definition R2.67 for 2000 / XP / XP 64bit / 2003 / 2003 64bit

Nothing new to report other than that.

It's upgrade time (kinda) - E8400, more memory (adding 4GB), bigger hard drive, more powerful power supply etc.

Thank you for all that you do Ligusta !

As far as I know, uGuru will work in W7x64. I don't bother installing the utility though, and just install the driver.

Hello, maybe anyone can help with a little OC for this n00b

I just upgraded my PSU to Corsair 850AX & MSI R7870 and I thought I could match this upgrade with a little OC. I don't know how OC really works but maybe anyone can give me notes or screenshots of your BIOS that I can maybe copy to mine
here's where I'm at for now

    advance thanks

Sorry, I've never done any overclocking with this board and haven't really overclocked anything since 2006. Why are you running a beta BIOS, though (assuming your signature is current)?

    Try these settings...

    FSB: 400Mhz
CPU voltage 1.4v (this is a start)
    Memory voltage 1.8v
    memory ratio 1:1 (800Mhz)
    Memory timings 5-5-5-15

You should boot up into 3.6Ghz. Do some testing and then try dropping the CPU voltage down little by little. The only CPU features I'd turn off is virtulization. Everything else is on.

    Hi!
Sorry I'm not English so I'll try to be as clearly as possible in my explanations.

I have a problem: the memory slots 3 and 4 are not recognized. I can not run the dual channel with my kingston 2gb + 2gb. They are only recognized in slots 1 and 2 as a single. Computer don't boot at all when I put them twice in the slot 3 et 4 ..they are not recognized at all in theses slots.
The ssd work but it not recognized too in the kingston toolbox software.

    My bios is 1.8zzz

    config:

    core2duo 8200
    Cooler Master 620W power supply
    Msi 570gtx twin frost II
    bios 1.8zzz
SSD Kingston HyperX sh103s3/120g in AHCI
    4 go Kingston DDR3 pc 6400

    All drivers are updated.

I never succeeded with this one or with another memory (gskills) to work.

Is this a hardware issue with the motherboard in your opinion?

    Thank you for your answers!

    Question Video Card Suggestion?

I'm building a budget system for my son-in-law using the IP35 Pro and Q6600, and I need a $50-$60 video card for it. The one I'm seriously looking at is this: GIGABYTE GV-R667D3-1GI Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card, which I can get for about $57 shipped after the rebate. Usage will be watching videos and maybe some light gaming. Will this newer card work easily with the older IP35-Pro, or is there maybe a better option in the same price range? Thanks.
