Here's a new BIOS compilation, this one with an updated JMicron JMB363 storage controller option ROM. Sorry for taking so long to update it.

    Download the BIOS compilation

I highly suggest you do not use any BIOS older than 14, but I've included them if you absolutely need to run an older version for whatever reason. Flash at your own risk. I've personally tested 18ZZZ only. There's very little chance of failure for other versions, however. Worst thing that'll happen is some option ROM throws an error, in which case you flash back to a stock BIOS and post here so I can figure out why and possibly correct it (or put in an older working version of that option ROM instead).

If you do not require the PXE ROM to display its "press Shift+F10 to configure..." message twice after the Intel AHCI OROM's initialization message during boot up, go to the CMOS setup screen, then Integrated Peripherals, then Onboard PCI Device, and set - Invoke Boot Agent to Disabled for both Network Controller 1 and Network Controller 2.

If for some reason you require a beta BIOS version available from the lejabeach website updated, please send me a PM.

    Drivers:

    Utilities:

abit IP35 Pro motherboard & uGuru manual

Click here for my latest BIOS compilation, which improves compatibility with SSDs.

The latest BIOS compilation is still current. Neither Realtek nor JMicron have released new option ROMs, and Intel dropped support for the ICH9R chipset in their Rapid Storage Technology ROMs ages ago so the ROM 8.5.0.1030 and the driver 10.8.0.1003 WHQL are the final versions which will work with the abit IP35 Pro.

sorry guys. i don't speak Greek, and babel fish is difficult . i just found it on google and registered in order to download the pics and share them here.

the guy had a Lian-Li case with one of these VapoChill rigs.

the user is Obijuan83. he's now also got results of a Q6600 @ 9x 460Mhz. next test is to lower the multiplier to really test the FSB...well, that's enough play-by-play, LOL

they've also linked to this thread so maybe he'll pop in here to share his data

damn those P35 chipsets are freaks!!

500x9 is a massive pain in the ass to do. the boards are just relly hitting it hard to do that.

    thats damn awesome though!!

Tasos, are you following the thread at outofspecs.gr?

thx for the nice results, BTW. FSB is looking good!

how are your impressions of the maturity of this board and its BIOS? this is actually the biggest concern for me.

No i do my own testing for an other Greek forum.

I havent posted anything yet, cause i'm still testing.

The boards that came to Europe had the 17/05/2007 bios that doesnt have strap selection like the initial release bios 02/05/2007

I heard there in a newer bios June dated (i havent got it yet)

For normal use up to medium-high o/c .... the board seems to work fine.
It will get even better with future bios releases.

can anyone confirm which audio codec this board is using? i can't find it listed anywhere.

the Realtek ALC889A used on the Gigabyte P35 boards seems to be the latest and greatest, and according to bit-tech.net, outdoes the ADI chip on the P5K boards.

hoping the ABIT uses this chip as there is no soundcard in the market that i want to buy right now and my M-Audio Revolution is not supported in Vista.

EDIT: nevermind, found that it uses the ALC888 .

Alright, I'm baffled and getting real pissed. I cannot get IE7 32bit to work, it says I have no internet connection, but 64bit works fine.

I did a fresh install of Vista 64bit today with a KillerNic installed. I wanted to test out the onboard nic, so I uninstalled the KN drivers, restarted and enabled one of the onboard nic's. Drivers installed ok, but now IE7 32bit will not work at all. It gives the "Cannot display a webpage" screen. i can't even log into my router with it. 64Bit IE7 works great, though. What the hell am I doing wrong here???????

    Thanks

That may have something to do with the 64bit Gigabit lan driver?

Is there an option for 1t like the P5K?
Looking at this or the P5K as possible replacements for my Killer 680i, also looking at 1066 dominators, and either an 8800gtx or a 2900xt...

have this puppy now. on stock intel cooler, was to lazy to put on my tuniq. my cpu is lapped also.

400x9 58~65c only bumped up vcore to 1.35, MCH a hair and left sb alone. vtt is stock..rock solid

    standard stuff.

i decided to drop the multi down to 6x475. rock solid. the slight increase on voltages all around..except on my pc6400..had to ramp it up to 2.2 to be stable at 4-4-4-12. 4gb total. sub times set to auto

very nice. iam much happier with this board then the p5k, the bios is more rich aswell. the lack of 1t is a let down, but hopefully a bios update will fix that.

set it back to 333fsb for now while i run prime over night to see how stable it is stock.

nice board overall, at least the sata issues arnt going on like with the p5k dlx i just returned.

will post screens once i apply tuniq at least on friday. 500+ with some pwn cooling should be easy it seems
