    The pic of the beetle was with a 70-300. It is a little out of focus and I was shakey because there were about 20 mosquitoes landing on me.

    which 70-300? It looks like it has ALOT of CA which the 70-300 really doesnt havea problem with.

    Chromatic Aberration, it's where some of the sections color spectrum gets refracted at a slightly different angle than others, causing you to get some objects 'outlined' in usually red or green.
