Well here is my first attempted at a macro shoot with my new camera. I am a noob so please be gentle.

Taken with my Finepix 1800S in super Macro mode. They were shot in full manual mode. Trying to learn about shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc.. to take better natural looking pictures. Hell to take better pictures all together.

sadly I don't have the Equipment that most have here. I will try and get some better ones.

You can try getting into macro with Raynox macro adapters. Or if you can mount regular filters on your camera (via some adapter), you can try simple close-up lens.

Here is my new Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro Lens with IS enabled, hand shot, no flash basically my first test shot with it...

Thanks Lu(ky - all shot with a XTI, EF 2.8/100 Macro USM, and a 580EX II off-camera with a softbox. All shot at 1:1, with the fly being a 50% crop.
