A really old (over 30 years) speaker that had a logo "Sound Research Labs." Don't have a clue of what is the "Sound Research Labs" (maybe the brand?) since it is my dads.

Well here is a macro of it, enjoy

    Camera: Sony DSC-H10 (nothing special)
    Exposure: 2.5
    Aperture: f/4.0
    Focal Length: 11.4 mm
    ISO Speed: 100
    Exposure Bias: 0 EV
    Flash: Did not fire.

Macro in photography is usually defined as having a 1:1 or greater subject to sensor ratio (old days, 1:2 was still accepted as being macro). Most of the 'non macros' here are most likely 1:3 or greater. If the lens isn't fixed focal length, it's most likely not a true macro.

Most likely a closeup. I'm not sure if compact camera's follow the same 1:1 subject-to-sensor rules since their sensors are much smaller than a regular DSLR's.

Here's what I'd consider some 'true' macros:

    Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3

    TI CAS Inspire Calculator

Wikipedia has a nice introduction on macro photography and some technical aspects regarding it, good read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macro_photography

    Breathe me in
