Budget board

Hey guys, I'm making a review computer and I need to get a 500mhz FSB.

I can get a hold of these motherboards for around $80.00 CAD.

-Asus P5B Vanilla
-Gigabyte S3

Both use the P965 chipset, and I know I will have to do some mods. Does anyone here have a moded P5B which can achieve a 500mhz FSB? Or a GA-S3?

Could you post directions on how to do the mods? The current threads with the P5B Vdimm / FSB termination and Vdroop mods are down.

Which one do you recommend?

How about a Asus P5N-E SLI? The majority of them are hitting 500MHZ FSB without much problems. And they are a very cheap board.

They are around $140.00 CAD, I can only afford motherboards $80.00 and lower, and I can get a deal on the P5B or the S3 for ~$70.00 CAD
