    $1500 CAD gaming rig

What's up guys.. maybe some of you remember me from other forums that I wont say but yeah

im putting together a gaming rig and I need some input.. I have a $1500 budget. No Keyboard, mouse or monitor, just the rig.

This is what im thinking of

    Radeon 2900XT - $459
    Intel E6600 - $280
    Gigabyte DS3 - $148
    OCZ Reaper DDR2 1066 - $179
    Seagate 7200.10 250gb 16mb - $69
    Liteon DVD burner - $40
    Thermaltake Armor - $169
For PSU I can't decide which one.... OCZ GameXstream 700w, PC power and cooling 610w or the Corsair 620HX.

Has to be off NCIX.com, thanks!

Can't comment on the rest but i can say that all of those PSU's are of top quality. Go with whichever is cheapest. (before people start bashing me for telling him to go with the cheapest power supply.... they are ALL good)

Any reason why you are partial to only using NCIX? Do you have credit there or a gift card? I ask because you could get things much cheaper if you want to go elsewhere. NCIX has a daughter company that they own by the name of directcanada.com. They have free shipping on anything over $300 for ground and only $9.99 to ship your order if you want air. If you want to get your stuff from NCIX have them price match to Directcanada to save yourself some coin.

Here is an Example. Directcanada has the Gigabyte DS3 for $134.99 as opposed to your $148 so you are already saving $13.

Directcanada has a 2900XT on for $456.75 instead of $459 so you save a couple bucks there too. Over the course of your entire order you could save $50 or so not including the free shipping. Check the page out and search for all the parts you want and compare. You may be surprised.
