I agree with IE, but Chrome? Webkit and V8 are both excellent technologies.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but making such a statement without an explanation isn't really helpful.

Don't use IE because a corporate behemoth wanted to make the Internet proprietary and web developers the world over are still suffering the consequences. Standards compliant html/css does not render properly in anything <IE8/9. What's more is the data collected by IE and disclosed to MS (should you install with recommended settings) is a massive invasion of privacy.

Chrome, although Google embrace open standards is again a massive invasion of privacy.

Firefox is pretty much standards compliant and doesn't send any data to anyone. Except crash reports to Mozilla on the rare occasion it does crash and this is optional.

Just 'cos it's legal don't make it right.

FF on here, though on my own PC I use rekonq. Standard with Kubuntu. Works well enough that I really don't find a reason to change.

I've been using IE9 ever since chrome ate up 25% of my cpu running java for extended amounts of time.

I just tried to switch over to firefox, but can't. It will not import my bookmarks from IE9 (no option to manually choose the bookmarks.html file) and if I click and hold down to drag, it's unresponsive. I have to click a second time for it to work. It just feels broken. I'm stuck w/ IE9.
    You must [not] advance.

I use google Chrome and its the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed from scanmyspeed and it was normal too,i used firefox which chocked my browsing capabilities..But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier..

On the Winders I use Chrome, FF, IE (a mix between 7+), and Opera. On OSX I use all those substitute Safari for IE. Being a web dev makes you constantly check sites in diff browsers. It's fun sometimes!
