Nice clocks. My L772A does about the same, stable @ 3.9. 1.51 Vcore but 4.0 keeps failing after a few hours with 1.53 vcore. Core temp runs about 55-62 deg and I hear a click from my PC then about a second later one of the cores fails prime. I am thinking the CPU is throttling of course it could be a hundred other things but I don't trust the reported temps from any of my apps because my ambient was 27deg c when I took this shot. Still 3.9 is a nice speed for me hell even 3.8.

    10 hours..

    jejejeje
Mine has been stable for more than 12hrs blend orthos and more than 18hrs on small ftt. I just wanted to show the clock as some cpuid do not show the clocks speed correctly. not trying to impress you at all. just though I show my stable clocks (yes orthos SMALL and BLEND tests, 3d mark 06 MAX settings for over 8hrs loop test with ALL test included, superpi, memtest and if you have any other proggy you would like for me to try) I will. I have posted 4.0GHZ and 4.1 GHZ screen shots after 2 hrs ORTHOS runs on this and other forum boards not to impress you but to help others with my findings, I've spent over 6 long days of research on this new motherboard and cpu. Again my intent was not, "who has the better overclock" but to spread my findings and sujest command 1T for a faster overclock take it or leave it. Young kid behind the keyboard

im not saying that at all. I just see a lot of people not backing up what they have to say. a lot of bogus overclocks IMO.. I only believe SS of 10+

I mean yah i can boot up at 4.5 and show u a 9 second orthos SS but its not stable watsoever.. lol

Anyways, I cant go higher without raising Vcore as of now. Hopefully by next month ill take the time and purchase some watercooling accessories. And try for higher clocks. But as of now. 3.8ghz 24.7 is good enough for me. Huge improvement on my old E6300 @ 3.3ghz

But yet again I have a few other goodies in current rig to help out with that. :p

I think 3.8 ghz has shown to be the sweet spot for 24.7 use on most of the E6850 chipsets, Would like to see mine hit 4ghz though. Itll prolyl take 1.55vcore. But I can not do that on current HSF. since temps load 60+ on 1.55 and idle around 40.

As of now I idle at 30-34c and load @ 55-58c . Im happy with my results.

I was reccomending for you to try your ram at command 1t thus why I posted my pictures to give you an idea. 3.8 ghz is very nice, but you can still tweak your ram to achieve a much better overclock overall. then you can have best capable (for now) cpu clocks and best achievable ram speeds.

    Good luck
