    [DFI 680i LT] awesome results and Bios setting pictures.

    personally, it's the best mobo DFI made within 2years.

    ambient=26c
    cpu with watercooling
    supertalent ddr2-1000 c4 1g*2
    RaptroX, SilverstoneOP1000w

    For C2D, use bios 2CTxxxx
    Bios Setting:
    vSPP=1.65v
    vLDT=1.37v
    CPU VTT=1.49v
    GTL=auto
    E6700 @ 535fsb dual-prime

    For C2Q, use bios 4CTxxxx
    Bios Setting:
    vSPP=1.74v
    vLDT=1.37v
    CPU VTT=1.6v
    GTL=170/95/95
    QX6700 @ 410fsb wprime1024m

    Ram 1T testing,
    really amazing!
    ddr2-1056 5449 1T reached.

    and cpuz verify: http://vic.expreview.com/attachment/...56+1t+cpuz.jpg

    ddr2-1000 5439 1T benchable

    Tips for the mobo:
    1) Do not disable EBD and VT in cpu feature.
    2) NB and PWM must have active cooling, especially when u are running Quadcore.
    3) when u are running C2D, do not have to change GTL setting.
    4) when u are running C2Q, this GTL table for ur reference, do not set too high, or system would be unstable
    GTL1 REF VTT
    140 1.2
    155 1.3
    170 1.4
    185 1.5
    200 1.6

    NB/GTL0/2/3 REF VTT
    75 1.2
    85 1.3
    95 1.4
    105 1.5
    115 1.6

    5) BSel Ref Table
    BSEL0=267
    BSEL1=133
    BSEL2=200
    BSEL3=350
    BSEL4=333
    BSEL5=333
    BSEL6=350
    BSEL7=350

    mmm thats pretty nice fsb, actually really good.. too bad thats only for core duo. quad core scores dont not seem that mind blowing..

    BTW does this board make that whining ( 680i sli boards) noise while the cpu is under load..

    really great

    What can run this QX6700 in Asus Commando or P5B-D(FSB)?
    I'm curious DFI can better fsb support..

    u can expect a 680i mobo have same fsb ability for quadcore as p35/965.
    on p35, the chip can do 490fsb stable.

    sorry not reply ur pm, tooo busy these days, 4weeks no rest.

    Thanks for taking the time to share your results with us. I'm curious about some of your tips. Could you please explain why it is that you recommend leaving the CPU features EDB and VT enabled?

    u will have problems when disable that 2 features.
    if u disable them and adjust vid in bios, u might be always fxxx up with bios safe mode.

    Victor, nice results... you make it look easy!

    What has that QX6700 done in other boards at x9?

    Also, not that this is important, but I tested all the BSEL settings on my quad and both BSEL3 and BSEL6 booted my board at 333. Only BSEL7 seemed to work at 350 on my setup.

    haha, thx.
    I dont know Uni means "dream" in finnish.
    our meaning: the UNIon of UNIted UNIque overclkers in China.
    so u can see why we choose "UNI"

    it not so easy like in the post.
    took me 3days to have these results and many discuss with DFI FAE.
    I really hope my "Tips" can help u guys waste less time and have a easy overclking

    this qx67 can do 490fsb on asus p35.
    330fsb on nv680i reference board
    333fsb on rd600

    I let BSEL=auto

    Hey, I'm glad I wasn't the only one to take a few days to get a stable overclock on this board!

    Another question Victor, the original GTL NB values that were published by Tony on his overclocking guide at TTR, are lower than GTL 0/2/3 recommended values...

    VTT 1.2V...GTL1=140, GTL2=75 and NB GTL= 75
    VTT 1.3V...GTL1=155, GTL2=85 and NB GTL=80
    VTT 1.4V...GTL1=170, GTL2=95 and NB GTL=85
    VTT 1.5V...GTL1=185, GTL2=105 and NB GTL=90
    VTT 1.6V...GTL1=200, GTL2=115 and NB GTL=95

    Yet your recommendations seem to have NB GTL = GTL2... can you confirm? Is this the latest recommendation from DFI?

    Can you share your voltage settings and or post a pic of the bios screen that you used for 410x9 on the Quad?

    Thanks.

    NB is real high here, as soon as I set over 1.62 with weak cpu drive the board hangs on every post...so the question is:

    Weak or strong drive Victor when you have the NB voltage so high.

    Moving on, can you run 9x1600 linked and sync 1T with 6 hrs orthos with a dual core and the same with a quad, stability at 3.2ghz is fine...you really need to load the board up on air cooling and see how it does.

    I had run 400*9 1.4v quad-prime for 12mins. (cpu can stable at 1.36~1.376v). but got blue screen after that.
    maybe somewhere is too hot.

    my rig:
    cpu=qx6700es b3 with watercooling.
    mobo=dfi 680i lt, bios=4CTxxxxx
    ram=pdp ddr2-667 3224 1g*2

    and my bios setting here for 1440fsb, 800-1T-C3 ram:
    volts. control.

    fsb/clk control.

    I'm realy impressed with the 1T @ 500. What will that memory do on other 680i's as well as other chipsets? Is this board that much more 1T friendly than the others?

    DFI 680i LT, holy mobo for ram at 1T, i never have >960 1T on other mobo.

    The only disadvantage I can see, is that DFI have gone to "digital IC power Mosfets"....SAME mistake as ABIT IN9 did....
    Heavy load user will be dissapointed....

    Sorry for that question, but what is the disadvantage about these "digital IC power Mosfets" ?
