    !$%!#

I tried installing linux the other day and completely screwed up my system, im not even sure what happened but all i know is i lost half my information because i didnt have an extra drive to save images on for backups. What i need to know is, what would be the best setup to hook into my home network for backups, some sort of external harddrive or a network hard drive or whatnot, and how would i go about hooking that kinda stuff up?

Those Linksys and Kingston NAS devices seem to be good.

Yeah a NAS box would work well or if you have spare computer components lying around build a file server, just buy some high capacity disks. But IMO just disks in an eSATA/USB enclosure would work almost as well. Also just out of curiousity what distro were you installing?
