Here there is a chipset mod for KR7/KX7, the pins is n°5:
so for the VCORE mod all i need to do il solder a lets say 22k resistor to pin7 and then to ground (my case or something like that??)
am i right?

Ive got the required stuff from my volt mod Lee and you just need to solder it onto the pin or use an IC clip or something.
Ive killed 2 mobos now, both Abit, KR7A and an IT7 now from volt mods....you can have my wires....ive given up on vcore mods....

This maybe old, but whats that mod for? do you mean vmem mod maybe?Originally posted by Ciesko

I know.. but it's efficently. This is my mod on my KX7
Vcore and OVP, the chip is HIP6301CB pins 7 and 10
Another image of Vcore and OVP mod.
Vram mod, the chip is HIP6521CB the pin is number 3.
I've used a 50Kohm trimmers.
Good luck

ah i need 3 pots?
i only have 2..
there 47ohm pots..

^what they look like.
Do i need 3?
i havent heard of this OVP (over volting procection?) till now.
wheres it stop at?
i have the at7 (trying to sell), and gonna get the kx7-333 and vmod it.
gonna be water cooled.
If you don't use a OVP you need 2 pots, but you can have more of about 2,16V Vcore. 47Kohm is ok
you lost me? can u explain?Originally posted by Ciesko

What if I just sodder the a 18kohm resistor to the pin 7 and then to pin 9 for ground what kind of adjustments should I get? Also could I do similar with a 4k for vdimm?
mmmm..~~ 18k ohm might be toughyyy....
22k ohm resistence, direct connection will give you upto 2.05v Vcore.
4.7k ohm for the Vmem will give you 3.25~ 3.28v.
My KX7 is rock n roll @ 3.45v mem with a 3k ohm resis.... LOL! really gave some sqeeze on my Sammy pc2700ctl@ 208mhz FSB@ cas2.0-2-5-2 on da KX7 blk caps.
What about the chipset(VDD?) mod?, what ohm resistor for that?...
i test chipset vmod, but no stability increase.
nobody talks about that:
and a agp voltage mod to im improve stability at higher fsbs,to kx7 333r,whem i try fsb higher than 215mhz,i have corruption on image.it is possible to change?
