Sorry, but I do not want it to look stretched. If someone has a mac they can do it very easily but I do not know how to do it on a PC.

If you want to make it bigger than it is right now, it has to be stretched anyway. Otherwise, they have to re-do the same logo to make it big.

    50 x 14...as in inch or pixel?

Inch but no you do not have to redo the image because it has more than one layer. Is there anyone with a mac? I think you may need to have a mac.

Where is the file that has more than one layer? It should be a .PSD file, but all you provided is a link to download a .PDF file...

There are such no big difference between Mac and PC for using Adobe Photoshop.

    I gave it a try anyway: http://nullimg.net/truck_window.jpg

it will always look stretched if you change aspect ratio

if you want to keep that ratio, youll need it to be 50x 20 , or 35x14
Ive got it as psd and jpeg, but its about a meg in size, so i cant attach or host.
if you have photoshop, heres how it is done.
open pdf in photoshop, go to image > size , and in the "document size" pane, make sure inches is the unit of measure.
then change the values to get them where you want. Keep the "constrain proportions" box checked and it wont come out looking stretched.

Kinda ran out of time playing with this file, so I think it needs a little work, but here's what I have so far.

PDF is 5.0 x 1.4 (so it works for your 50" x 14" needs). Shouldn't have problems scaling as it's made from a vector image.

I'd re-do it in Illustrator rather than Photoshop. there's nothing there that can't be done in vector format (rather than having a massive Rastar image), it'll save on file size and can be resized without having to worry about resolution...if you increase a photoshop file beyond the size it was originally then it'll be interpolated and therefore lose quality. Did your printer give you a resolution to work to for the s/s image? Most want 300dpi at 100% for something like that, so for a fifty inch file you'll end up with a +20meg file, even with an LZW compressed tiff, with Illustrator you'd be looking at much less and it could be resized without quality degredation.

I'm not at work at the moment otherwise i'd be able to look at it properly with CS2.

I've redone it for you in In Illustrator CS2, it comes in at 1.5meg as an ai file, it's done to the dimensions you asked for, mail me and I can send it to you. If it needs tweaking for colour or layout then no problem, just let me know.

Actually my 85KB PDF is already a vector image from Illustrator. No need for a 1.5MB ai file when my file scales proportionally to the correct size without distortion already

In any case, it doesn't really matter. The OP hasn't been here since the 6th. I missed this thread by 1 day I think he's already used what was posted previously.

    Oh well, such is life.
