i'm in the same boat, it seems that i'm leaning towards the ABIT QuadGT or maybe the P5N-E SLI cause it's cheaper!! LoL

hot_fifty, DS3-P is not for sale in USA

Depending if you want to go SLI or not

    single card, go 965

    Id recommend-
    ASUS p5b dlx
    ASUS commando
    ABIT QUAD GT

QUAD GT isnt as good for super high MHz ram

    no giga-!!

thnx irev210, so you would say that the P5B-DLX would be a better choice than the P5N-E? as for the QuadGT, well it's not that i'm sooooo impressed by. especially with that price!

again, it depends if you plan to go SLI

if you plan to go SLI, then yes cause 965 cant

but 965 is better at overclocking

as others have said, the quadGT is a pretty great value, ~165 shipped after 30 mail in rebate

DFI infinity is still pretty new, but seems pretty sweet at the price point.

BTW, like the gigabyte DS3, there is nothing wrong with it as a value board. Really tough to beat for the price.

It really depends what you are looking for... something for everyone.

Asus P5B Deluxe is a very stable board.

DFI Infinity P965 looks good if you can find one.

Gigabyte 965P-DS3 is a great board for the money.
