E6400, P5B-Deluxe RAM question
Ok i have a P5B-Deluxe with an E6400 in it. When i was beginning my overclocking exploration i got 3.7Ghz on stock volts. That is 3.7Ghz and in my OS. Unfortunately it very quickly showed signs of RAM issues.
So i had to clock back below 3GHz to get my RAM stable.
Now i know the board and CPU have a fair bit more in them as ive had it there but the RAM has really hit the wall so im going to need new RAM.
Currently i have Corsair XMS2 2*512 Twin X (rated at an odd 675Mhz) i originally picked for when i had it on an Intel board. Now im obviously going to need something considerably better at high fsb (Im aiming for 500fsb or more). What do people recommend i use? I like the Corsair Lifetime Warranty thing but even 3 years would be enough for me so what do i buy? This time im also looking for 2*1Gb or 2*2Gb matched pairs.
