    [XF]DDR3 P35 Live Demo Sneak peak

    Intel P35 is the first chipset that supports DDR3 memory module. 3rd party motherboard vendors like Abit ASUS Albatron ECS FOXCONN Gigabyte MSI are almost ready to launch DDR3 based motherboard in Q3 2007.

    This time XF Team is proudly brought you guys P35 and Team Group DDR3 modules for a sneak peak. Team Group has used Qimonda IC as base component; PC3-6400 CL6,1.5v,and 25 USD per IC. Let's take a look

    Ya I know that Cas 33 look funny. CPU-Z team is trying to fix that soon.

    Well, I dont know about that. Currently, I only see Elplida DDR3 IC (GeIL) and Qimonda DDR3 IC(Super Talent, Team Group) modules in forum. From our past experience, it could take another 12 to 18 month for the real OC D3 IC

    $25 an IC isn't that like $200 for a stick of one gig?
    And that board is using AGP?

    I think the development of DDR3 is a bit faster compared to DDR1 switching to DDr2 Era, we'll just have to wait until some of those Mobo chipset hit the retail market and probably the first couple quarters will be the OC community who will be the pioneer in using the DDR3 platform then not long after market will be able to accept the DDR 3....

    PC3-6400 @ CL6, is this only for testing or will the DDR3 launch with those not god speeds at first ?
