What should i get for my new build?

Ok, i've already purchased a silverstone op1000, i've got a stacker stc-t01, i have a petrastech elite cooling kit (with a gtx and an mcr330) Ill be getting a PA120.2 + another Lanning DDC+2 with a PetrasTech top later on to cool the vid cards, just waiting for them to be in stock. After all that im looking at a budget of around $4500aus (Around $3735US) im looking for major assistance on what mobo/memory to purchase as well as some ideas on the cpu. The mobo needs to have true sli (2xpci-e x16 slots both running at 16x16) This system is going to be used 99% for gaming so any help/ideas would be most appreciated. Overclocking will not be a major concern for a while. I know some of the parts im looking at arent out yet but im hoping most of them will be out around june (Excluding the Penryn.)

This is what i had in mind so far

mobo - Either a Asus Striker Extreme, An Evga 680i or an Asus P5N32-SLI (Am leaning towards the Evga because the reports about the striker dont make it sound like its worth the extra $100 I know the Evga had stability issues but from the sounds of things they have been mostly fixed with bios updates)
CPU - qx6800 (Am thinking about getting a E6600 and waiting till the Penryn cores come out)
    RAM - 2Gb Team DDR2 PC2-6400 Xtreem Series 3-3-3-8 Dual Channel kit or 2Gb G.Skill DDR2 PC2-8000 HZ Series 4-4-4-5 Dual Channel kit
    Vid Cards - 2x 8850GX2/8950GX2 in sli

Once again, any help is most appreciated and welcome.

    Thanks

Could you link us to the website of the Australian store you are buying from? Or perhaps if thats not possible, an online australian computer website that has similar prices?

Im having to source parts from different sites, some dont stock them, some do but at extremely high prices.

    Check out www.staticice.com.au
    or shopferret.com.au

they're the best two local sites for finding prices

For the memory im going overseas to www.memory-configurator.co.uk
even with shipping added its still alot cheaper than getting it in australia

Thanks for the advice on the mobo & The cpu. The team group is also D9GMH but in the review they were able to clock it to 1248Mhz (http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=get...40&articID=514)
At cas 4 it ate the Corsair Dominator PC8888. Considering its half the price thats not too shabby

that team kit is one of the best GMH based kits out there but it is not the best for the price ,,,,,,,,,,, if it is OK with your budget go for it

Are you going to be using Vista or XP? with a budget as big as yours 4gb of Memory wouldn't hurt if its vista. If your going to wait for Penryn you might as well wait for P35? Or just have plans to upgrade to Penryn P35 down the road, and get a E6600 for now.
    Current Setup:
-9850 GX2's in Quad SLI config
    -Asus P5N32-SLI MB
    -2x512mb of PC2-5300 DDR2
    -Intel Celeron D OC'd to 3.2Ghz
    -Windows Me with XP theme
    -WD Caviar 20GB Hard Drive
    -Zip drive
    -Jazz drive
    -3.5" floppy drive
    -5.25" floppy drive

Just remembered about my tax return, so money isnt going to be a problem (Budget will be about $6000AUS)
Yeah, im gunna be using vista (So i can use DX10 in Crysis.) Good idea getting 4 gigs of ram. Thanks. The reason i dont want to wait for penryn to be released is because im building this rig for Crysis. From what i understand Penryn is going to be released on the 775 socket so hopefully when its released a bios VRM will come out for the evga. I figure im better off getting the e6600 now than getting a QX6800 because its going to be out dated within a few months.
