Water Chiller Finally done and running (For the most part ;))

Well My project water chiller, is finally done. I Finally got around to getting most everything finished on it and Got to do some testing tonight, due too a horseĀ§Ā§Ā§Ā§ board an 8rga+ that won't do 200fsb with 2.0 vdd and -35c water, there was no point in 3dmarking yet, till i get my rma'd 8rda+ back soon here. Well this is brought to you on that chilled machine.
    specs are:
    opp's 2700 @3.0 ghz with 2.0 volts (15x200) cooled by a prommie with r404
8rga+ (pos) with no mods, just some chilly -35c water on the nb(dd z block, custom alum top in the making still here)
9800 cooled buy a mcw50-t with a 172 watter on there powered by a meanwell, right now tooling around and browsing @500/370 no mods.

and the good stuff my custom r404 water chiller, got some pics of it after about 10 minutes or so of it running, can we play spot the frost?

here is a side shot, note I am having problems keeping my insulation from frosting, if you can see the temp it is at -25c there, and it is already sweating, at -35 it turns frosty.

    Very Nice Indeed!

    Nice job man!

Compressor is in the garage? Can't tell from the pic. How long is the run between the compressor and the cooling exchange in the cooler (pardon me if I don't use the right terminology, not too familiar with phase change stuff, yet.)

    Thx.

    thanks guys

zippy, no the compressor in in the base unit, that the cooler sits on, when in use the whole thing is encaseed and all you see are 2 tubes coming out..The pics you saw is when I first got it all together. From the compressor to the chiller and back has 50ft of coiled 3/8 tubing. I think thats what you were wondering right?

Bowman maybe you can fill me in on my thermostat i am trying to use, I can't get it to work right has a temp window you set the temp i.e -30c and it maintains inbetween -35 and -25, that way i don't have to worry about the chiller I can just plug her in and forget it.
I have the johnson & johnson A19, the instructions are very unclear, you familier with this unit by chance?

    Ok...Thanks rabeb25, I C Now

Sorry, I should have looked more carefully!

So that whole unit sits right next to your computer, and the frosty thing stickin out is the pelt block you're sticking on the CPU?

    Oops, I mean the northbridge?

    Northbridge, not CPU, right?

    hey
nope it is a fully enclosed stand, I have my prommie and my lan rig that sit on the top right where the meanwell and tubes are.
the sides and top were not on in the pic, was too excited to get her running, and to take a pic

and that water goes to the nb, and gpu

man i would but i am not familar with that stat.but most of the time stats will not work with a chiller on a pc.it cannt keep up with the heat load once it tries to start back up.
but it would be real nice if you could get it to work.

My god your cpu is 100degrees C cooler than mine haha i am in the process of converting to water cooling, i have only got a DD gpu block at the moment, im awaiting a DTek White Water so at the moment my gfx card has the watercooling all to its self

I must say the smiley collection on this forum is a bit large
