2.4ghz 4600+
On, i get better temps, and it looks better too
My side panel is 2.4.7 on. Basically it helps in keeping the dust and noise down. It equally helps me in getting my mind off my old hardwares, which has been pleading for an upgrade.

I leave it on ever since I did my mesh mod.

Caseless for now, but I have HSPC tech station coming... not much better I guess.
i just leave it open better airflow...
on my 900 i had to keep my side panel on being that i have a fan mounted to the panel pulling air onto the graphics cards, i took the panel off for a day the temps changed a lot, the graphics card got hotter, the mother board got hotter, and the cpu was hotter.
The way I have my case set up the air comes through the radiator in the bottom and either through the back, front, or mainly top. So taking the case side off actually increases the GPU temps because not as much air is being pulled past the video card. The CPU temps stay the same because it is being cooled by the rad that takes outside air in anyway. Depending on how you have your case set up it can be beneficial one way or the other.
