LN2 Session in Spain

Some days ago the UnKnown Team had a first contact with LN2 during the Reus Lanparty

The hardware:

- E6700 Retail L628B
- Asus Commando (vdrop pencil mod)/ Asus Striker Extreme
- 2x1Gb OCZ Flex XLC 9200
- 1x eVGA 8800GTS 640Mb / 2x Asus 8800GTS 320Mb
- Enermax Noisetaker 600W

Stock cooling for everything except the micro.

And of course the LN2.

2Mb:



Lord & Isi (UnKnown Team) --> E6700 @ 5120 Mhz --> 25.797s

PiFast @ 5280 Mhz:

For some days the faster E6700 in the world anyway it is a 100% OC for a E6700, a pretty good second place for us. We needed more volts but max vcore reached was 1.83v (selecting 1.8v in bios!)


Unfortunately our Striker + Sli 8800 GTS didn´t work fine under LN2. The truth is the board doesn´t boot under zero degrees.

We couldn´t bench with the SLI of GTS. The striker didn´t worked under LN2. Only some poor results with a stock 8800 GTS 320M and the commando.

Great clocks with E6700! Congrats first LN2 tests! That's very good start!

SP8M time was slow I think, was there some problems with that? But in the future i'm sure you'll get better time in that.
(9x533MHz, 1:1, 4800MHz our time was 2min 13.xxxs.)

offtopic: From Tomorrow to Sunday is my first time with LN2, just with one friend of mine. No "Team" -sessions I mean. I'm little bit scared...
E6600, Celeron 352, maybe P4 631, ASUS Commando, ABIT QuadGT, modded 8800GTX, let see what we can do for... I hope I can break 5GHz with my E6600. (same CPU 100% OC with CO2, link below)
