Question which Intel 800fsb HT is the best choice?

it seems that 2.6G one can beat 3.06 in some test as well as wiping AMD asses.. but is this a good choice? (i wanna OC to 3GHz with default fan.. possible? 13x230

    p.s., can i use DDR266 on 800FSB?¡@

I would think the 2.6 or the 2.4 would both be good choices with the default hs. I have a 2.4 that I've been playing with since wednesday, and I have no problem OCing to 3.4g with the stock hs.

yes you can use ddr266 memory, you might be stuck with the 3:2 divider and hence your OC might be limited by your ram.

2.6c at 3.5mhz with stock cooler, only 1.575 actual (set as 1.6 in bios). too lazy to slap on water cooler, so i'm going to get the zalman 7000 and go for 3.6. 3.6 is all i want.

hmmm since you have water, go for the 2.4, if you have good water, you'll hit 3.6 (or higher) & anything in the 3.6 Ghz has a 1200 + FSB
