I guess it depends a bit on how the board performs but if this board can manage high C2Q FSB speeds then it will sell like crazy because that is exalty what the market is missing right now!

They will sell fast. On the DFI CLUB forum there was a post that verified what was said earlier. 45 kits will be shipped this 4/27/07 (Friday) I *think* to Newegg. So, probably look for this board to be in stock next week sometime.

ANDRE have you found the board to be without any major problems?

What looks better? 9700 blowing back to the case exhaust, or up to the PSU intake?

    Nice.

Where did you pre-order the board from? And when can we expect a mini-review?

Hi, while I wait for this board, I'm getting together the cooling blocks I will need...

Can someone with this board do me a huge favor and measure:
    - the box bound by the 4 NB retention loops
    - the pin-to-pin distance on the SB retention pins
    - the pin-to-pin distance on the DPWM heatsink retention pins

Dimensions to the mm would be ideal.

    Thanks!!!

How does one order direct from DFI exactly? I've poked around their site and didn't see anything. Would be keen to ensure one of these boards. What price did you end-up paying?

Maybe. . I would wait till you see some Sli results, gaming benchmarks etc.

Great to see DFI havent followed the same path as a majority of motherboard manufacturers with those stupid silent pipe cooling designs.

I would love to know these things:

-How hot does the SB get and how fast does the fan run when heavily overclocking? 2000rpm? 3000rpm? 4000rpm?

-What size of fan can you put on the NB heatpipe/heatsink? And does it need it when overclocking?

-Has anyone noticed any glaring incompatibilities/instability with these boards yet?

I'm hoping to replace my motherboard/CPU/RAM thats in my sig with this board, an e6600/e6420, and 4GB of DDR2
