To upgrade or not

My current system is
Asus a8r32-mvp
ati x1900xtx
amd 4000 san diego 2.4
corsair xms 2x1 gb pc3200 twinx2048-3200c2pro

This was a great system when I built it. I mainly game on the system.

I am thinking of adding a
Denmark 2.6 dual core processor for 329.00 newegg
Would this be worth the money to upgrade to this processor or should I do a new Motherboard,processor,and ram.

Asus p5wdh deluxe $209
intel e6600 $308
corsair dominator 2x1 twin2x22048-8500c5d $350

Will I see a big differance in speed with the new Hardware?

Go for either an Opty 165 or the second option. To take a little money off, go for a DS3, e63/64/4300, and some cheaper DDR2-800 RAM

Money(within reason) really isnt a issue just looking for a performance upgrade.

then you should build a rig based on c2d.

go for e4300 with asus p5n-e sli /ds3

i got a asus p5n-e with the e4300 and 2x 512 ddr 800 from elixer(40 euro a peace crap) and it runs realy nice sick inprofment over mij 3.1ghz optie 144

e4300 3dmark with 7900gs = 41000 super pi = 22 sec
optie 144 3dmark = 33000 super pi = 35
@ stock speeds

so its realy a inpfofment for gaming
