Buffalo Select hates any vdimm over 1.8V!

Got some Buffalo Select DDR2-533 (2x1 GB).
It is packaged as Comstar as can be seen, but the RAM is actually Buffalo.

Now according to the RAM sticker & the list by r00n, it should be Micron D9DCN.

But it does not seem to be.
Or it is very odd Micron.

It refuses to boot into XP or Vista @ 2.0V

And it errors instantly in Memtest @ 1.9V+
1.85V it got till test 4 before an error.

At DDR2-800 5-5-5-15 1.80V, & it passed one full Memtest pass!
    And happily runs Orthos blend.

    Amazingly strange to me...
Apparently, it only likes 1.8V, & absolutely no higher...

I shall see how much higher i can go with 1.80V, since it hates any higher vdimm...

Well, looks like it will not get much past DDR2-800 5-5-5-15 1.8V

It fails Memtest test 4 @ DDR2-825, which is not that surprising considering the low vdimm.

Just seems really strange it will not tolerate any higher vdimm.
