    Which Chipset Block ?

What chipset block would be best suited for a evga 680i , Swiftech MCW30 or Danger Den Maze4 ? or other ?
    Rig 1:
    i7 930 @ 4000Mhz - Asus P6T V2
    3x 2gig OCZ - Evga 470GTX
    2x Segate 320gig HD Raid 0 - 750w PC & PC psu
    Cpu - H2O Cooled

    Rig 2:
    Q6600 G0 @ 3450Mhz - Asus p5k delx
    2x2gig OCZ 8500 - Evga 880GTS 640
    2x Segate 400gig HD Raid 0 - 750w PC & PC psu
    dual loop H2O Cooled

Swiftech MCW30 works great in both of my systems. On my primary system its on the southbridge (with a DD 680i block on the NB). On my secondary system it fits the SB perfectly. The MCW30 seems to be compatible with a lot of boards. It works perfectly with my Nforce4 boards and my 965 boards as well. I don't see any reason why it won't be reusable in the future.

Maze4 has better performance but its a chipset block, doesn't matter that much. Maze4 has a far more superior mounting system for some boards I think...MCW30 should do you fine.

i'm very happy with my MCW30-as was said, every ounce of performance really doesn't matter at all, it's mostly a matter of the best flowrate:cooling ratio. The Maze4 is slightly more restrictive and expensive, and the MCW30 generally looks better in a loop :p.

    oreally??

mmmm... the 680i block looks sexier to me.. :P I have both. MCW30 on SB. And DD680i on NB.

The 680i is a better block, however, its more restictive.

I should note, when you loop your CPU -> NB, unless your using super flexible tygon, your gonna have pressure on the NB from the turn. I would be very scared if your not using flex tubingg, and used a two screw mount instead of a 4 screw mount which the 680i has. But im sure people will say its all right.

    Enjoy. :]

That is exactly my dilemma ! I would like to use the least restrictive block wich i agree would be the MCW30 but i would feel safer with a block that mounted with 4 screw's like the DD maze 4 680i block ! The tubing i will be using is Tygon Beverage Tubing B-44-3 1/2" I.D. 3/4" O.D. and 1/8" wall and seems to be just as flexable as the R 3603 . It has a slightly higher rated Working Pressure than the R 3603 so although it "seem's just a flexable" it may indeed not be . It has the same bend radius though .
    Here's the rest of my loop: pump- MCP 655 >rad-thermalcill 120.3pa>cpu block- D tech Fuzion >NB block ? > res-cape bullseye > pump
I will most likely go with the DD maze 4 680i block as long as it wont hinder my flow rate to much unless you guy's can convince me that im worried for not or have another suggestion ect .....

The maze4 really isn't restrictive, it was meant to have low restriction in the first place (duh, NB doesn't need good cooling!). MCW30 is just a piece of copper screwed onto a plastic top (which is why its cheap).
You only have a D-tek fuzion in your loop so I'd just go with it. Why don't you have a rad?

Why don't you have a rad?

What about the DD's performance on small dies though such as to be found with the 975 chipset? There seem to be quite some differences especially there with the less complex designs working best.. Anyone tested the MCW30 vs. a DD there. Also what is being meant by "better" or "worse" in aspect of this comparison anyways: if we are talking about 1K, I'd gladly choose the better flow over the marginally better temp.

I beg to differ ! I have always been able to sqeeze abit more out of a "Stable" overclock by keeping the NB cool

Because im a dumb a$$ that forgot to type it in (Rad=120.3pa)
corrected thanks for pointing out my mistake .

Well both blocks have low restriction, and both blocks have somewhat poor performance (low surface area, non impingement).

Tell me you did not destroy the old top...
That has got to be the best performing chipset block ever lol.
