101.02 XP Driver for NVidia 8 series leaks

    http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1609

Been using it the past few days, no problems at all. So if you've been having any issues with your current XP driver and an 8 series card give em a try.

There's also apparently a rather nice boost in performance on Stalker, for those interested.

I can't say for sure, I didn't bother with the 100.95. It's probably a few performance tweaks/bug fixes and obviously some increases in stalker performance.

I can't say for sure on stalker as I don't have the game yet, but that's just going by what I've read from other users.

the bugs for the most part are still there but it does benchmark better (by a tiny bit)
Fast computers breed slow, lazy programmers
The price of reliability is the pursuit of the utmost simplicity. It is a price which the very rich find most hard to pay.

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was

How sad. I much rather see games fixes then 1% boost in 3dmark. Who gives a rats ass about that. I buy my computer to do work an play games.

For what it is worth, I haven't gotten a single bsod with these drivers playing Stalker or WOW. With the last two releases I was seeing bsod's pretty frequently. Logged about 2 hours of wow today along with the last hour and a half in Stalker. Nada one, whereas last night on a raid I was getting one every 5-10 minutes. As a matter of fact, I thing tonight was the first time I was able to quit the Stalker game normally rather then have it crash on me. Hot damn!

lemme go ahead and do a big 'ol knock on wood after making the above statement. I really don't want to see any more blue than I have to.

    You can use rivatuner...

Go to the poweruser tab, click Rivatuner\System and Set ForceDriverVersion to 9792. Then you can use rivatuner.
