Yup. I'm using the Corsair memory cooler on OCZ Platinum DDR 400 PC3200 in my Opteron system, though I think I like the OCZ cooler I'm running on my G.SKILLs better. At least it looks better through the clear side panel!
I think either one is a good choice.

I am using one on my ram and aside from the high pitch fan sound so far I am pleased. The fans come with a three year warranty so that is a plus.

how high pitched is it? compared to other 40mm fans? possible to switch to other 40mm's? anything flows better and/or is quieter? I think I may be getting one as a gift soon
