I took a single raw file and using the viewNX2 software for my camera I adjusted the exposure 1 pt and saved the image. I did this 10 points + and i then did it 10 pts - so i had a total of 21 of the same image with different exposures. Then I used them in photomatix to see what would happen.

Great colors, nice work. I would straighten it though, but thats just me.

I have no idea how to do tiltshift I know there are some lens used for that, but the technique escapes me.

I kinda like HDR, I will try with some raws I have to see if I can save some pictures with some dynamic range.

    two more

the same as the first one, but later in the day

I'm pretty sure my white balance is ok yet my pictures in HDR have like a lower K rating on them, is that normal or I'm doing something wrong in photomatix ?

    Thanks Weevil!

Normally I would have straightened the image but i was just fooling with photomatix and really do not know the program.

    Hi,

You will need a special lens for it, or a view camera (e.g. one of those old cameras with the bellows looking like a hamonica ;-) ) there are some applications that tries to replicate the effect... but, doing it the real way gives you a lot of options in your phtography.

Also do straighten your images before posting - its messy ;-)

    Hi 4hams,

Photomatix is alot of trial and more error b4 getting the gribs with it. So just keep at it
It is still probably the best HDR program out there
