first shot isnt HDR but a stitch, second is though, first time ive played with that actually

We went to watch my daughters best friend Spencer's Hockey game last night and this is what I came up with.

Tone mapped not a true HDR.

I think your photos look solarized, not really HDR (in any way). It's a cool look, though.

just playing around with the built in hdr of the sony nex-5n and a quantaray 24mm macro f/2.8 (canon mount)
this was the built in HDR mode on HIGH and some slight post edge sharpening
