Latency issues between PC and router.

    tracert 192.168.1.1
Tracing route to 192.168.1.1 over a maximum of 30 hops
    1 <1ms 66ms 4294967233ms 192.168.1.1
    Trace complete.

I would like this fixed if possible anyone have any idea what it can be?

    Specs:
    DFI LanParty Ultra-D (Marvell LAN)
    Linksys BEFSR41 v2
    Windows XP Professional

    So far I have tried...
    -reinstalling drivers
    -resetting the router
    -changing router settings
-changing registry settings (saved default and reverted back because it didn't help)
    -updated motherboard bios

On my roommates PC he does not get any latency issues and he has the same motherboard and is using Marvell LAN (If i use the nvidia LAN it crashes some games and does the same for him if he uses it).

Could be the cable? I would also try a different port on the router.

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.

according to my calculations, that many ms would place it at 1193 hours, or around 49 days. Its probably just a miscalculation by software, try pinging the router with the ping command

did you try resetting the router to factory defaults instead of just resetting is to restart it. On my linksys router, you have to hold down the reset button more 45 seconds to get factory defaults back. Holding it for any less time just resets the router as in restarting it and requesting new IPs.
