Hello,

It's time to ditch my AMD X2 setup and grab a conroe setup. I already have the following parts:

Silverstone TJ07
Zippy 700w
EVGA 8800GTX
2GB Corsair 8500C5
Scythe Infinity

I still need a chip and motherboard. I've decided on a e6600 - now I just need the best motherboard to take it as far as possible. I want to stay Asus - I've had beyond terrible luck with DFI and I'm not a big fan of gigabyte. I also don't want the stryker. SLI capability is important to me though, which somewhat limits my choice.

Right now I can't decide between the P5N32-E SLI PLUS, the non-plus edition, or any of the other billion boards out there. I want to be able to hit at least 3.6ghz (I'm buying a used chip that does 3.7 on a Zalman). I've read horror stories about all of these boards, not being able to boot with 4x 1GB (I will be going to 4GB in about a month), vcore issues, etc. I'm not afraid to tweak or overclock stuff (I've been on water and phase change cooling before) but I don't want a fundamentally flawed board either. I can vmod if neccessary, but would prefer not to.

If you guys could shed any light on the situation I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
