Nice - too bad not ATI though so you could Fold on it.
Will look fwd to performance specs. Please include watts and noise.

Really nice. I am looking forward to hearing about it coming together.
May I ask the dimensions?
Dimensions about 50 x 20 x 20 ( in centimeters )
55*22*22, it would have been too short with 50*20*20.
About performance, the system wasn't designed first to go under 0°, Noobzed's choice, that's why I've decided to use this little compressor (L88TY - 1/4hp) as its able to carry >600w @5° with R134a. But seen the time we spend on this project we have decided to go under 0°, but don't forget that there are ~500w to carry, we'll change the gaz (mix butan/propan for now) for R404a but don't imagine it will go very low . We should have decided tha t at the begining, I'd have used a nl11f :/
Noobzed wanted a good-looking unit before anything else, I hope he'll love it
on this pic the condenser appears grey but it's black, I think that's because of the pipes that are too shiny :p
I'll update this page with new pics. Today I do some electricity and the unit will be sent tomorrow or on Thursday.
I haven't made pics of the inside of the tank, I've put sort of translucent silicone and the tank is totaly tight now

Can some Xs expert in phase changing give their advices for the TDP of two 8800 GTX in SLi ( GPU@700 ) and nForce680i NB plus the SB ?
Nvidia suggest a power consumption of 140-170W depending on the manufacturer (for the whole card, whit 640MB of memory, DC supply regulator..etc.), and the cooling device since it can also drain some power.
GPU for it self can consume 60-70% of that. So it is 0.7*170W=120 on default. For 20% increase of VGPU, and 20% of OC it's (1.2^2)*1.2=1.728 x more. That's max of 205-210W for the worst (170Wdef. - probably factory OC card) scenario.
205+205=410W for the 2 OC-ed GTX GPUs
NB+SB?? Max 60-80W together. 80W+ 410W=490 ~ 500W

that is I wanted to know, so 120W @ stocks, 240 + 80 with NB + SB so equal to aprox 320W @stock. I'll not do Vmods, just OC with clocks.. so I can say with your numbers it 'll be around 400W for SLi and chispets, isn't it ?
It looks really awesome!
But aren't you not supposed to use blocks with plastic tops and go subzero?

very nice work mate, any more pics of the unit?
The unit is finished at 95%, need to do some electric and other small things, pics very soon !
Really nice unit there

Sorry for electricity and screws and bolts, I've made it too late and the shop was almost 90% closed, I wasn't able to buy anything, so the electricity is done with what I had
I would never have though it would take me time ... Next time I'll do it more seriously, I'll buy what I need sooner...
What I can remember of that experience is that it's very hard to do nice work when we don't have the right tools and accessories (I've lost so much time that I don't want to work in these conditions anymore :/)

No problem, I have finished insulation of the tank, screwed the compressor to the case with silentblocks and right bolts, but now my biggest problem is to redo electricity... Can you help me ? ..
It is a joke of course ( oeuf corse ) but damsxx is great in doing insulation !
I have redo all electrical parts with the help of Clemmaster, now time to plug and fill !
what kind of armaflex did you use to insulate?
Looks like a dang fine unit to me!
Sorry if this is a tad off topic...but I'm planning on doing an A/C conversion this summer, and was wondering about the sound levels from these units. Ie, what frequencies, about how loud, and most importantly, how well is that Akasa working for you?
Thanks a lot!
