    yep, I've tested 5 boards before get THE monster, a friends had burned one of 5 who can get 594Mhz under single stage, probably over 600Mhz under 2 stage cascade...

    all others boards limits :

    -534Mhz
    -562Mhz
    -561Mhz

    but you need the better CPU if you want to get 600Mhz FSB

    PS : all of them are C1 chips...

    normal aircooled...around 16-18°C ambiant
    no vmod :
    1.55v -> MAX FSB 622Mhz (same with the Xeon 3050 & E6600)
    1.65v -> MAX FSB probably over 634Mhz

    2v -> no more FSB...

    Yea; I've also noticed more than let's say 1.7V doesn't really help under air.

    Greater voltages are only effective when trying to max out your strap (e.g. 399MHz). I have to use 1.9Vnb to get from 399 to 487MHz.

    Btw.: nice clocks there... I'd give anything for a good B chip...

    Can I test mainbords on air when searching for the golden one? What are the max fsb clocks on air with multi down?

    (the plan is to bump in some local store and test every single dlx board with some cpu that I now it has fsb wall high somewhere in atmosphere )
