    Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus and clockgen ...

    If u have a Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus can u use clockgen whitout problems ?
    Because i got freezes and bleu screens ,reboots with it

    If u use it with no problems can u tell me how u did it ( biossettings )

    The problem is that if i boot at 10 x 320mhz ( system is 100% stable ) and then i use clockgen 320 -> 321 = freeze , 320 -> 319 = freeze
    If i set speed at 266 ( default ) then i can use clockgen up to 310 , then system begins acting weird ( screen flashes ) if i set it then at 311 i got a bleu screen ( Machine check Execution )
    I must do this with very small steps , 266-> 268 -> 270 -> 272 ..

    I linked ,unlinked , sync , pci 100 , pci 105, 1T , 2T, voltages up, voltages down.
    System can boot up and do 3dmarks at 3900mhz , but i can not use clockgen ...

    Maybe because this board uses the C55 + MCP55PXE

    680i = C55XE + MCP55PXE
    650i = C55 + MCP51

    I cannot use clockgen either over 350 fSB on my Striker board, my settings have to be done from bios or otherwise it freezes...

    Can you run Intel TAT Cranox, mine always gives some dump error... on the P5BN and P5W it runs fine not on the 680I of mine
    Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

    Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

    correct me if i am wrong here but TAT only works with intel chipsets ?

    this happens with 680i and 650i it cant be used.

    and why on god's green earth would you use clockgen on a motherboard where the fsb will go way beyond the abilities of your chip if your using 10x multi.
    seems pretty goofy to try and use clockgen doesnt ? huh ?
