Shame that so many about this thing... It's good to know that the 680i boards will truly fly.
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

Does this bios fix the problem with raising the FSB, and having the PS2 keyboard/mouse glitch?

I know thats one problem I had with mine, My processor can do 3.5Ghz, but my mouse/keyboard glitch like a mofo!

Doesnt glitch with USB keyboard/mouse tho.

If someone were to post an unsupported inquirer link he would get flamed or belittled. This is even less useful, at least they're as forthcoming as possible.

I'm surprised this hasn't been deleted, a lot of claim threads or deliberately blurry screenshots usually are.

You people are something else. What "claim" or "blurry screenshot" do you see in this thread? It's right here in black and white...

As you can clearly see, that is a 450mhz FSB with all 4 cores and the 680i

And a pic of the system if you doubt my validity....

And as far as I'm concerned, people like you can piss off....because I'm tired of getting pissed on for giving you people the first real proof that the issue has indeed been fixed.

Good, they finally posted it. I can now say it was a simple board swap. Didn't even need to reinstall windows or drivers. Just unplug/unscrew and replace, that's it. I was just asked to not say anything about what the fix was until they made the announcement.

Boards will definitely be found in stores eventually, but I am really not sure of an ETA on it hitting your particular store.

    NO Jakup,
What I meant was can one be ordered directly from you? I know you do sell them on line. I tried to order a board just a little while ago and your web site gave an error for the shipping and wouldn't let me. (I'm in Canada)
    Thanks

while we are here, this is off topic so excuse me but I was wondering about the 6pin 12v power on the mobo, do they come with an adapter for them?

It's great that they are doing this but they will have alot of people from other countires complaining that they can't get cross ship or whatnot, when imo the exchange is done as a favor... any other mobo maker out there would just make a new revision and leave the bad apples out there.

Suppose I'll add this too, regarding the PCB revision to look for.

    The new one is..
    PCB 180-7R093-0000-D00

    The old one was..
    PCB 180-7R093-0000-C00

So I would assume that the "D" at the end is what to look for on the PCB revision.

EDIT: @ screwtech02, temps are actually pretty decent. I run my CPU at 3.2ghz 24/7 and idle/load temps are 45/55 give or take a few degrees between the cores. I can take it all the way up to 3.9Ghz with it, but temps begin to get scary at 62/74.....

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow, my battery in my camera is dead atm. But it looks identical to the original board, save for a few resistors on the back side of the board is about the only thing I spotted. But I didn't do a meticulous inspection to see, they just looked identical, so what they changed was very minimal.

Jacob called me and selected me to be one of the first people to get this board to get him some more results with the FSB. To my knowledge there are 4 other people that also got the board, but I've only heard the results from one of them, and he says he's easily doing 425mhz FSB with his quad no problems and is going to push for more shortly.
I'm really wanting to hear from all the others that got it and see their results to compare mine with. But it appears that 400mhz FSB is a walk in the park now with quads and this board. The highest I've got mine to so far is 468Mhz FSB. I'm going to be putting my Q6600 ES in tomorrow and see where it goes.
