    Actually K|ngP|n has done 12min57 with 3603Mhz on P5B-Dx 1066 strap, Corsair 6400C3 GKX at 600 4-4-4-5

I think its worth a try on 680i, too bad I don't have a board.

And eva: 5-3-3 is an interesting pickup, I didn't know it is this fast until I saw your tests

off topic but you got more than 90% chance to hit DDR1100 Cas4 (you got warranty up to 2.52V) but hitting same trimmings like eva , you wont be able to do it even with an identical kit

    Great thread.
Definately interesting to see how people are pushing the performance on the 680i chipset.

Sorry about going off topic, thanks for the link!

Thanks. This was made with watercooling and 1.5 real vcore adjusted with vcore mod. Also 1.55v on Supertalents cooled by a pair of Tornados 90.

And this is a deferent aproach, booted @424fsb(1696/memory unlinked and set @1180Mhz) and clockgened trying to benefit from higher fsb and memory speed.Unfortunately I don't have a better screenshot with more details because I was hopping for a 4Ghz run.My chipset had other oppinion
The timmings are the same.I'll try again when I'll have some time.

I have these in a P5B-Dlx, I gave up on my GSkill HZ's after a third stick died.

Anyway, Anyone have a Idea as to what subtimmings to use?

Yeah, I second that. Top bloke, top site

BTW, the OCZ Ti Alpha VX PC8000s are covered by EVP warranty up to 2.52v but that voltage can kill them!!!!! I had a set die from running 2.5v, they were replace by OCZ of course but it was still annoying and costly for freight.

Here's what they did with 2.5v though. No doubt I could have tightened up the sub timmings alot more but was just going for max clocks.

Yeah voltage may kill even if it's within warranty terms. I try to keep benching vdimm to 2.5v vdimm max and usually stay below 2.3-2.35v.

Touch wood that my modules seem to get better with age.. or probably I've had more time tweaking them i.e. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=136258

Bringing this back from the grave....Eva, would you still prefer the VX2 over the OCZ Reaper HPC PC2 9200? I havent figure out yet if I will go with the Striker or a DFI mobo (I like DFI a lot) so I am trying to solve the memory dilema first.

    Regards

Yes prefer my OCZ 8000 VX2 over 9200 FlexXLC. my 8000VX2 handle 600mhz 5-3-3-3 tight sub timings but 9200 FlexXLC tightest i can go is 5-5-4-5 ...

Awesome! No cold boot issues here right? I used to have the other OCZ VX Gold and while I loved its performance (250 @ 2-2-2) the cold boot was driving me nuts.

    Thanks again for this
