No post w/P5B-E & OCZ Flex XLC pc2-6400

This ram is spec'd at 2.0v, is there any other reports of it not posting on 1.8v P965 boards?

I've tried both sticks individually in different slots to no avail. No video signal on post, just a black screen.

considering picking up a cheap 256mb pc2-4200 stick.

Apparently this is a common BIOS issue with some boards. Updating your BIOS should fix this. Some of the older BIOS have the Write to Precharge at 10 and this can cause conflicts, it needs to be at 11. When you get that other module, update you BIOS and make sure that Write Precharge is at 11 and install the FlexXLC modules.

Let us know how things go. Thanks!

    Thanks Andy

The problem turned out to be CPU, not ram related at all. Once resolved these sticks booted fine at 1.8v.

These are really some sweet sticks for the price

Run perfectly at stock, and will do DDR-1000 5-5-5-15 2.1v.
My max stable so far is DDR-1060 5-6-6-18 2.15v
