    Lightbulb Upgrade!!!

    Hi to all,

I have at this moment the following hardware:

    PSU: ZALMAN 300W
MOBO: ABIT AN7 nforce 2 ultra
    CPU: AMD XP-M 2800+ @2500MHz
    MEMORY: Kingston 2G DDR400 2,5 3 3 11
GPU: nVidia 7800 GS AGP @700/1300
    HDD: WD 250GB 7200RPM 16MB

    RESULTS:

    3DMark03: 16053
    3DMArk05: 7878

Well I think is time to change, to:

    PSU: CORSAIR HX520W
    MOBO: ASUS P5B-DELUXE
CPU: INTEL CORE 2 DUO 4300
    MEMORY: Kingston 2G DDR2800 KVR800D2N5K2/2G
    GPU: ASUS EN7950GT
    HDD: WD 250GB 7200RPM 16MB X 2 NOT in RAID

    What do you think guys?
    Any advice about these components?
Any real experience with this hardware?

    Thanks in advance,

You'll absolutely love the HX520W, I have the 620W version and it rocks, as for the CPU, I would ditch the E4300 and go for a E6300, pricewise there's not too much difference and performance and overclockwise it will defenitely go further on the P5B. As for the rest if you build a system with all those components you'll notice a world of difference from your previous crappy system

For a few dollars more I would suggest E6400...

everything looks fine, I suggest to stick with the e4300, don't overpay for an ASUS card, but you sholdn't even listen to me, it's my 3rd post
