Keep it on, turn it off? Yes or no? On my new i7 920 build in sig. Right now its got my CPU at 2.78ghz. That is from the Turbo right? What are the benefits (Beyond the obvious) and negatives of having it on?
Thanks

Turning it ON, will give you 21x multi, it will be easier to OC
I keep it ON
No problem using it, it is part of i7 feature and enabled by default
Cool thanks man.

This guide explain something different, I'm sure that what intel needs but that's doesn't happen with gigabyte mobos
as I know when you enable turbo mode, all cores get 21x multi and stays with this multi even in idle mode, the guide says something about 1 core will get the 21x multi but all the motherboard I saw stick the multi @ 21x whatever under load or idle (C1E disabled)
