    Pump monitor

What do you guys hook the blue RPM wire from DDC pump to? Is there a way to detect loss of RPM/failure and have the computer shut down when it detects 0 rpm?

Sensor pin on a fan header on mobo/fan controller.

Shutdown on fan failure should be doable on Mobo, depending on chipset/BIOS.

As creidiki said I hook mine to the CPU fan header on the motherboard and have that "enabled" in the Bios.

I have mine hoocked up the the CPU fan header aswell.
Its being displayed as CPU fan speed.
You can either set a shutdown temperature, so in case the pump fails and the cpu starts getting hotter, it shuts down.
Depending on mainboard you can have a emergency shutdown if the cpu fan speed is below a set speed.

If you have 2 pumps can you use a splitter and then connect to cpu fan header? Will it work correctly with the splitter?

Splitter only reports the RPM from one signal cable, you'll need to hook them up to 2 different fan headers.
