no way it'll outperform a loop with a PA120.3 an 80x2 rad can't do that, and that fan is bound to get noisy at 3600 RPM

Eh, I dont see any German there.

Anyway, my honest opinion is that if youre considering an easy souton just go for a Big Typhoon or similar top aircooler and hook it up with a really good 12cm fan. Good being either powerfull of quiet depending on your needs.

I dont see a price but I bet you the aircooler is many times cheaper and at least just as good.

You will still need to get the heat out of the case. The reason why I like water cooling so much is that it's not only removing the heat from the components (cpu, gpu, hard drives etc) but it's removing them from the case itself.

This thing is just going to heat up and while may be good for absorbing some cpu heat spikes it's still got to dissapate the heat somehow within a limited air space.

    Cheers,
    Dean

i would assume it would outperform your top aircooler. (given the fresh air and comparable mount.

If you think about it. this is jus a very elaborate air cooler.

I doubt it outperforms a good air solution and even if it does marginally, it's probably louder.

My other concern would be the torque on the motherboard with all that weight over the CPU in a tower case.

Other questions that spring to mind... What are the block internals like? How much does it cost?

    Not a good idea IMHO.
