    Ramsinks..Help..What to use?

Ok, what a nightmare my first watercooling experience has been. I'm currently trying to figure out what componant I killed in the process. So terrible when I had everything working fine on air, tore it apart to install blocks, and now it won't boot. Can someone please tell me what to use to get all the ramsinks required for the 8800gtx to stick!! I bought a different thermal tape at microcenter, and while I connected the hoses and everything it was raining ramsinks in side my case. I am so pissed and frustrated. What can I buy to get them to stick... I almost busted out the super glue but figured that would not be good. Thank you for any help.

actually, I used just a tiny amount of superglue, i mean tiny, and AS5, and all mine on my 8800GTX's are going strong.

I even tested popping a bunch off, came off smooth with a razorblade.

Okay, so how did you apply the super glue? Did you cover the whole ramsink or the chip in AS5? Or did you cover most, then put a dab of superglue in the area with no AS5?? Thanks for the help.

    And he means tiny, fyi.

I had the same issue with the Swiftech thermal pads and my 8800gtx - went with superglue on the corners and as5 in the middle too. I used probably a 0.75mm dab in each corner and they are stuck on there. If I ever have to get them off I'll have to leave it in the freezer or something to make the glue brittle.

yep super glue works like a charm i had a tiny amouth it in my ramsinks when i had gf 7800gt. when you want to take them out do this: play some game for about 10 min take the card out and the ramsinks should come off. allso a hairdryer is a good tool.

Thank you all for the advice. Once I figure out what I fried, and go to put the system back together, I will do the superglue+AS5.
